ZakázanÝovoce introduced their new album Mezi láskou a nenávistí (Between Love and Hate)

Prague's Rock Café turned into a place where a new chapter of the band zakázanÝovoce was written on Wednesday, January 21. A special fan meeting took place in the ground-floor gallery to celebrate the release of the new album Mezi láskou a nenávistí (Between Love and Hate), which officially came out two days later. Admission was free and the atmosphere intimate – which only highlighted the intensity of the moment.
The Rebel Sound editorial team was, of course, present, and our editor managed to interview the band before the show. The discussion covered the new album, the upcoming tour, and other topics. You can read the full interview here – interview with the band zakázanÝovoce. (interview)
Just over twenty fans attended the event. Despite the small, intimate audience, the atmosphere was exceptional and clearly showed that this was not an ordinary event, but an evening full of emotions and close interaction with the band.
The concert started shortly after 5 p.m. with an unplugged set. Although relatively short, it featured songs from the upcoming album as well as proven classics such as Jack & Sally, Město andělů, and Nepřestaneme snít. The strongest moment came when the band asked the audience if they wanted a song request – the answer Irská came unanimously, and the band played it without hesitation.
A humorous moment occurred during the show when singer Yaris's tambourine broke and the jingles scattered across the floor. Both the band and the audience laughed it off, and the concert continued, this time without the tambourine.
After the performance, there was a group photo session, followed by time for personal interaction with the band – fans could take photos together and chat with the members. At the same time, fans had the chance to purchase the new album Mezi láskou a nenávistí among the very first. ZakázanÝovoce thus gave their fans not only music, but also a piece of themselves.
If you missed this event, there's no need to worry. You'll soon have the opportunity to make up for it – zakázanÝovoce will hit the road across the country on their concert tour in March.
