When the stage isn’t enough: Brixtn and Trocha klidu took over Anděl Music Bar in Plzeň

14/04/2026

On Friday, April 10, 2026, the final stop of the joint spring tour of Trocha Klidu and Brixtn took place at Anděl Music Bar.

The evening kicked off around 7:30 PM with a performance by local young and talented singer-songwriter Viktorie Molcar. Although she is only 14 years old, it was clear she truly belongs on stage and feels completely at home behind the microphone. Her performance was full of raw emotion. For a few songs, she was joined by a guitarist, but otherwise the stage was entirely hers. She played several original songs like Zvedám level and Home, along with a few covers – including Cigarety (originally by Sara Rikas) and the phenomenal Zombie by The Cranberries.

After 8 PM, Brixtn took the stage and immediately kicked things off in a big way. From the very beginning, the club was bursting with raw energy. Frontman Matěj Jelen didn't stick to the stage – he frequently stepped into the crowd, walked around the bar with the microphone, or even sat on the balcony railing while singing. The opening songs included Nech mě se utopit, Inspirace, and Bude to ještě hezký.

At one point, the band moved down among the fans and performed acoustic versions of Porno, Tři deka dekadence, and Madelline. Matěj and his brother Štěpán Jelen also kept up a steady stream of commentary – something they themselves describe as partially a stand-up performance. Thanks to their brotherly chemistry, it works perfectly and adds a unique authenticity to the show.

They then returned to the stage and continued with songs like Vztahy, 10 out of 10, as well as Funpark, Děvka, and the more mature lullaby Zavři oči. The encore featured Karma followed by BG, performed together with Dan Holý from Trocha Klidu.

After a quick changeover, Trocha Klidu began their set with songs like Nechci se tě dotknout, Fábie Pistácie, and Nealkoholik. The latter reflects how difficult it can be to fit in without drinking —especially, as they joked, in Plzeň. A brief and possibly unplanned power outage followed, during which Dan and drummer Pavel moved into the crowd and played acoustically. Fortunately, power was soon restored, and the band returned to the stage.

They also performed duets like Díky hudbě and Síť záchranná, which worked well even without Jakub Děkan and Michal Horák. For Lucky Bastard, they invited their manager Matěj Zicháček to join them on stage. During Chci si vzít holku, Dan shared the news that he is expecting a son this year.

Members of Brixtn also joined them on stage for a joint performance of Cyklista. Other highlights included Čumim tam, dealing with phone and social media addiction, during which the audience formed a conga line following Dan in a circle. The newer song Dospělost was introduced with a humorous story about last year's concert and a not-so-sober afterparty.

The first encore included God Damn and the iconic Šouma, followed by Hromady. As the crowd refused to let them go, the band added a second encore for the first time on this tour, closing with Pozdravy z Pluta.

A big thank you goes to Brixtn, Trocha Klidu, and Viktorie Molcar for an energetic and unforgettable evening, as well as to Anděl Music Bar and the organizers for making the event possible. Hopefully, the bands carry great memories from the entire tour — and it's safe to say that ending it in Plzeň was absolutely worth it.
