When Forrest Jump Celebrates 25 Years: Baptism of "Zítřek být nemusí" with Dark Gamballe by Their Side

On Saturday, March 21, 2026, the KKC Elektra in Luhačovice transformed into a place where the past and present of the Czech heavy music scene came together. Forrest Jump celebrated 25 years, and from the moment the doors opened, it was clear this wouldn't be an ordinary concert. The autograph session at 6:30 PM turned into a lively meeting between fans and the band. Both current and former members signed posters, took photos, and reminisced about the early days. The album's godfathers were also present – Martin Kapek from Traktor and football legend Jan Koller – adding a ceremonial touch to the evening.
At 8:00 PM, the lights dimmed and Dark Gamballe took the stage. Their performance was built on raw energy, tight sound, and visuals projected on a large screen behind them. Songs like Baletky v hlavě, Těkavci, In-flagranti, Fata kapitána, Netopýr, Kapky, Špatné věci, Kult samorostu, Dobrý lhář, Výprask, Můry, and Zubatá kept the audience locked in from the first to the last note, setting the bar high for the night.
Forrest Jump hit the stage at 9:30 PM. They opened with Vánoční, followed by Zapomenutý svět and Uprostřed magnetických polí. New tracks from the freshly released album – Tak rád, Vzít nohy na ramena, and Zkratky a zkraty – followed, and the crowd reacted instantly. The new material sounded confident and heavy.
Then came the returns. Former band members gradually appeared on stage, joining the band to revisit older songs. The biggest wave of nostalgia came with the original lineup during Datamorgana. A powerful emotional moment followed with an acoustic version of Do Krve, dedicated to former member and friend Milan.
Another highlight came with Truet, where the band's vocalist performed a duet with Martin Kapek. Kapek remained on stage as the lights dimmed, and a video montage of Jan Koller's career appeared on the screen, immediately capturing the audience's attention. As soon as it ended, Koller himself walked onto the stage, sending the atmosphere soaring.
Both godfathers stood alongside the band, ready to officially launch the new album Zítřek být nemusí. Koller took a bottle of Forrest Jump beer and baptized the album without hesitation – raw, brief, and authentic, just as a rock concert should be. To top it off, the band threw the freshly baptized CD into the crowd, where fans eagerly fought to catch it.
During Maso, the band said goodbye to former bassist Aleš and introduced their new bassist M. Andrássy, who takes over the role for this season. The audience welcomed the change with respect.
The evening closed with 160628, during which Forrest Jump thanked their entire team, KKC Elektra, the guests, and the fans. Finally came Zafúkané – a rock reinterpretation of the Fleret classic – which had the entire hall singing along and brought the night to a powerful close.
Luhačovice witnessed a concert with a true identity. The return of former members, the drive of the current lineup, the dark intensity of Dark Gamballe, and the emotions tied to the new album created a night that won't be repeated. Forrest Jump proved that even after 25 years, they still have something to say – and that their home scene stands firmly behind them.
Thanks go to everyone involved in the evening – technicians, sound engineers, organizers, guests, godfathers, and most importantly, the fans. Without you, the night wouldn't have had a soul.
