VISIONS OF ATLANTIS vyráží na další velkou plavbu: přichází Armada – An Orchestral Voyage

Symphonic pirates Visions of Atlantis prove once again that their inspiration from the sea knows no bounds. After the success of Pirates II – Armada, which shot the band into the TOP 5 charts in Germany and Austria, another surprise arrives – a complete orchestral version of the album, called Armada – An Orchestral Voyage.
The band has previously shown that they have a flair for symphonic experiments (remember A Pirate Symphony), but this time they decided to go even further. All melodic lines are taken over by real instruments – from violins and flutes to the exotic duduk, which gives the recording a special melancholic shade. The result? Music on the border between a film soundtrack and a symphonic epic, ideal as a backdrop for reading, playing games or simply dreaming about endless oceans.
The sample is a new, purely instrumental version of the emotional ballad "Ashes to the Sea", which in its performance does not tell a vocal story and focuses only on this atmosphere. Singer Clémentine Delauney explains that this is where the heart of the entire record is hidden: to open up space for the listener and let them sail their own path in the music.
From the editorial board, we must add that Visions of Atlantis are moving away from the box of "just another symphonic metal" and are increasingly heading towards the film epic and soundtrack world - and it shows.
