VINDICTA Sign with Napalm Records. New Single IDOL(L)S Reveals the Dark Side of Society

Emerging from a past that has left behind disturbing traces, modern melodic metal band VINDICTA are stepping into the spotlight. The five-piece, styled as nuns wearing corpse paint, have signed a deal with Austrian label Napalm Records. They are celebrating the new partnership with the single IDOL(L)S, accompanied by a highly theatrical music video steeped in seductive, dark aesthetics.
Led by the hypnotic vocalist Lilith, the band have already played their first shows around the world and are now preparing to take the next step. IDOL(L)S is only their second released single, yet it already offers a glimpse of the direction VINDICTA want to pursue. Their sound combines catchy modern metal with a striking visual presentation and a provocative, lavishly decadent image.
Commenting on signing with Napalm Records, the band said: "We are genuinely happy to join forces with Napalm Records and to have a team that believes in what we create. There is much more behind VINDICTA, and we believe this partnership will give us the support we need to unleash our inner engine to its full potential."
According to the band, the single IDOL(L)S is part of a larger story that will unfold on their upcoming album. With it, VINDICTA turn their attention to manipulation, false authorities and a society lulled into complacency by the mere illusion of meaning. "And so the curtain rises, and the individual acts of a larger theatrical story begin to unfold, a story that will develop across our upcoming album. The spectacle takes a sinister turn. In this soulless puppet show, we distract you. Through the illusion of meaning, we turn you into mindless listeners and become your false masters. It is a self-ironic portrait of a society where it hardly matters what its rulers stand for, as long as the circus goes on. So let's fucking entertain you."
VINDICTA consists of vocalist Lilith, guitarists Rusalka and Lamia, bassist Medea and drummer Kali. In the summer of 2027, the band will also appear at several European festivals, including the Czech Masters of Rock in Vizovice, where they are scheduled to perform on 10 July. Other confirmed stops include Germany's Rock & Metal Day'z, Sweden's Time to Rock Festival and Portugal's Laurus Nobilis Music Fest.
