VICIOUS RUMORS are coming to Brno already this week!

Iconic VICIOUS RUMORS will storm Brno's Kabinet Múz already on May 16! They will be joined by special guests – domestic power metal veterans EAGLEHEART and Slovak progressives CASTAWAY.

Vicious Rumors belong among the key names of American power metal. The band was founded in 1979 by guitarist Geoff Thorpe, who remains its main driving force to this day. Since the beginning of the 1980s, they toured intensely on the local scene alongside then-emerging names such as Metallica and Exodus and helped shape the Bay Area metal movement, but instead of thrash metal they chose the path of a melodic heavy/power sound.

The breakthrough came with the debut Soldiers of the Night (1985), which was followed by the essential album Digital Dictator (1987), today considered a genre classic. In the mid-1990s, the band was struck by the tragic death of singer Carl Albert. Despite numerous line-up changes the band has gone through over the years, Vicious Rumors continue to release new albums and remain one of the longest-running bands on the American metal scene.
