Two rock generations on one stage: Argema played their 4,000th concert in Hluk with Olympic

On Saturday evening, January 24, 2026, the sports hall in Hluk became the epicenter of Czech rock music. The band Argema played their extraordinary 4,000th concert there and proved that even after more than four decades on stage, they have lost none of their energy nor their strong bond with fans. The jubilee evening was further elevated by the presence of the legendary band Olympic, bringing together two generations of Czech rock on one stage.

From the very first notes, the atmosphere was electrifying. Argema offered a cross-section of their career and reminded fans why they rank among the most distinctive Czech rock bands. The setlist included rock anthems such as Špinavý záda, Smůla, Mám se líp and Kudy z nudy, alternating with unplugged moments – Všední den and Stýská se mi had the audience singing along and added a strong emotional charge to the hall. Regional favorites like Jarošovský pivovar were also played, with fans singing together with the band. One of the strongest moments of the evening was the appearance of Pavel Březina, a former member of Argema and the author of several of their songs, now active in Olympic. Together with Argema, he performed Další den, which sparked an enthusiastic response from the crowd. The highlight of the set was Andělé, during which the audience spontaneously pulled out their phones and lit up the hall with flashlights, creating a breathtaking light backdrop. As a true rock finale, Když jsem šel z Hradiště closed Argema's set with power and energy that would linger in fans' minds long after the final note.

After Argema, Olympic took over the stage to show once again why they belong among the legends of Czech music. Their set opened with the energetic newer song Bombarďák, followed by hits like Osmý den and the slower, emotional Pálím tvář. The audience could sing along to cult classics such as , Jako za mlada, Dávno, Dynamit, Želva and Okno mé lásky. Olympic's set culminated in a classic rock finish – Jasná zpráva and Dědečkův duch gave the evening a historical dimension and underscored the connection between two generations of Czech rock.

The night in Hluk thus became not only a celebration of Argema's milestone concert, but also a demonstration of the strength of Czech rock music across generations. Fans left exhilarated, energized not only by the music but also by the unforgettable atmosphere that united two legendary bands on one stage.

In closing, together with Argema and Olympic, we would like to thank all the fans, technicians, organizers, and everyone involved in making this exceptional evening possible. Your support, enthusiasm, and energy turned this 4,000th concert into not just a musical, but also a deeply human celebration that will remain in the memories of everyone present for a long time to come.
