Train, Beer and Rock 'n' Roll: Civilní Obrana Hits the Šesterák Once Again

The Šesterák. Six concerts in a single day. Is that even possible? Anyone familiar with the Čáslav-based band Civilní Obrana already knows the answer is yes. And those who don't can come and experience it for themselves this year.
This unique concert project was first launched in 2022, when the band visited six cities in one day and performed six separate acoustic shows – back then still travelling by van. A year later, Czech Railways joined the project, giving the Šesterák a whole new dimension.
The concept is simple – besides attending one of the concerts, fans also have the opportunity to travel the entire route with the band from start to finish. For this purpose, special discounted network tickets are available through the band's website. With these tickets, you can travel alongside the musicians from city to city, enjoy each performance, and then continue the journey together by train. The event creates a unique, almost family-like atmosphere. It's definitely not just about the concerts themselves, but also about the journey – meeting people, making new friends, and sharing experiences on trains and railway platforms.
The performances take place as acoustic busking-style shows directly at railway stations, adding even more character and energy to the event. Singing, conversations, meeting new people and sharing a beer are all part of the experience, with one of the event partners, Měšťanský pivovar Kutná Hora, helping to keep the refreshments flowing.
So, what do you think? Can you handle all six concerts? Oh, and by the way – the ticket will get you to the event and then safely back home afterwards.
