Throat Singing Will Rise Again! The Hu Unveil New Album HUN
Innovative Mongolian rock outfit THE HU have announced the release of their highly anticipated new album, HUN, set to arrive on July 24, 2026, via Better Noise Music. Fans can already pre-save the record on Spotify or pre-order it through the band's official store on CD, vinyl, and a variety of collector's editions.
The Hu rose to international prominence thanks to their unique self-described style known as "Hunnu Rock" - a powerful fusion of modern metal and hard rock with traditional Mongolian throat singing and indigenous instrumentation.
Alongside the album announcement, the band also unleashed the hypnotic new single Lost Soul, featuring guest vocals from Johnny Hawkins of Nothing More. As far as is known, this marks the first collaboration between the artists, and the result is nothing short of phenomenal. *Unfortunately, it appears that Lost Soul will only be included on the digital edition of the album, which is a real shame.
Speaking about the track, vocalist Gala explained: "Not losing yourself on life's journey, holding on to your values, moving forward, and having the courage to face life's challenges — these are the messages we want to share with our fans through 'Lost Soul.'"
