Three Days Grace returned to Prague with two singers, the Karlín Forum was shaken to its foundations

Canadian band Three Days Grace returned to Prague on November 15, 2025. Did they return? Yes, but with an expanded lineup with original singer Adam Gontier, which many probably didn't even hope for.
When they announced this news at the end of April, many fans' eyes lit up, their dream would come true. Adam Gontier, who left the band in 2013 for health reasons, is returning to the microphone. And not just like that - his replacement singer Matt Walst is staying, so they will now have two singers. And they decided to release a new album together, Alianation. So it's not at all surprising that tickets to the (in their case, perhaps unnecessarily small) Karlín Forum were sold out within a few days in May, when they went on sale.
Already in the early afternoon hours, eager fans began to gather in front of Karlín to enjoy the concert. However, the mood in the queue was good and time passed relatively quickly.
The American rockers Badflower rocked the whole evening. Energetic singer Josh Katz jumped around the stage a lot, even headed into the crowd, which made the audience wild. He also played acoustic for a while, joked with the audience, performed many acrobatic creations, and even complained about his vocal cords when his singing was a bit off. This is not the first time the band has performed here, its premiere in Prague was three years ago, at the Fuchs2 music club.
Then Three Days Grace appeared on stage and the Forum exploded with enthusiasm. From the first notes of the new song "Dominate" it was clear that keeping two singers in the band was the best possible way. Of course, other songs were also played from the new album - we could hear, for example, "Apologies," "Kill Me Fast" or "Mayday." The new songs were of course interspersed with older titles, it was a cross-section of their work.
The most famous songs such as "Animal I Have Become," "I hate Everything About You," "Never Too Late," "Pain" or "Painkiller" could not be missed. The singers were perfectly matched, where Matt left off, Adam continued and vice versa. There was a certain chemistry on the stage, which made the fans boil. The energy was such that Adam even said that he felt at home here - even though, paradoxically, he had never been here. For the new song - "Don't Wanna Go Home Tonight" they invited Adam's cousin Cale Gontier on acoustic guitar. There was also Adam's acoustic solo - "Creep" - a cover by Radiohead. At the very end, the old well-known classic "Riot" was played.
I am grateful that I could be a part of this great evening and I am very happy that the band Three Days Grace arrived in the Czech Republic in this entire lineup with two singers - the energy was absolutely great. I am already looking forward to their performance at Rock For People.
P.S. Again, I'm just adding a few photos and videos from my mobile phone to illustrate the atmosphere.
