There's No Escaping FAUSTOVY HRAČKY! Will Someone Die in Their Second Music Video Too?

With roughly a month to go before the release of their debut album, Vlci a prasatas, FAUSTOVY HRAČKY have unleashed their second music video, Mně nezdrhneš. Another supernatural figure is hot on the heels of an innocent victim, but one question remains: will everyone make it out alive this time?

The album is available to pre-order through the Sparkshop online store.

The song Mně nezdrhneš may not open the album, but it did open the gates to the world of music for its creator and also turned him into a multi-instrumentalist: "The song 'Mně nezdrhneš' is the very first song I started writing. Back then, I was a little frustrated that I could put an entire song together in my head, but at the same time, I was in a situation where I only sang and played drums. So I picked up an acoustic guitar that had been left at our place by my grandfather and remembered his words: 'Dan, learn four chords on the guitar and you'll be able to play absolutely everything.' Today, I might not completely agree with that, but in a way, I still follow this advice. The song then came together fairly quickly," explains Dan Faust, the central figure behind the band, describing how the song and, in fact, the whole band came into being.

The band filmed the music video in the heart of a local park: "There was no shortage of unplanned spectators. Passers-by with strollers and dog walkers watched the video shoot from the front row. The filming also included several less planned moments, including a fall that ultimately made it into the finished video. Despite that, our jackets remained undamaged, and the park survived without harm even a somewhat risky flick of a cigar into the dry leaves. Well, almost," Dan Faust adds, describing the circumstances of the video shoot. You can expect the full album Vlci a prasatas to be available in stores and on streaming platforms on December 4.
