The Sweet in 2026 only at two locations in the Czech Republic: PRAGUE and MIKULOV!

Legendary British band The Sweet, who helped define glam rock and sold more than 30 million albums worldwide, have selected only two Czech cities for their exclusive 2026 concerts: Prague and Mikulov. On August 14, 2026, they will perform in the prestigious surroundings of Divadlo Hybernia in Prague, followed by an open-air concert on August 15, 2026, at the picturesque Amphitheatre Mikulov.

"From the huge number of offers, we chose Prague and Mikulov specifically. We want to perform in places that have soul and atmosphere," says Willi Wrede, the band's manager for Central Europe.

The Sweet will bring not only a selection of immortal hits such as Ballroom Blitz, Fox On The Run and Love Is Like Oxygen, but also new songs from their successful album Full Circle, which climbed to 19th place in the prestigious Media Control Charts in 2024.

The band previously performed in the Czech Republic under the Brnokoncert agency in 2017 in Prague and Brno, and one year later celebrated the 50th anniversary of their formation at Sono Centrum in Brno.

We are pleased to announce that the invitation to perform before the British The Sweet in Mikulov has been accepted by a very special guest - one of the most respected Czech bands, Prague-based Precedens. The band has been active on the Czech music scene since the 1980s and recorded several albums with Bára Basiková. Precedens recently released the excellent album Odstíny černé. Precedens will perform in the following line-up: Martin Němec, Daniela Langrová, Karel Vošta, Pavel Nedoma, Zdeněk Imramovský and Tomáš Kašpar. Daniela Langrová is also known from the Rock Opera Praha project.
