The Prostějov festival Rock For Your Shock will celebrate its fifth edition under the banner of female voices

The Prostějov festival Rock For Your Shock, which brings together fans of rock and metal music, will take place for the fifth time this year. The jubilee edition will carry the subtitle "Sheroes of Metal" and will be dedicated to prominent female personalities of the metal scene.

The festival will take place on Saturday, August 22, 2026, in the grounds of Prostějov Castle and will offer a number of international and Czech bands. The headliners will be the Italian pioneers of vampire metal Theatres des Vampires, who are returning to the Czech Republic after thirteen years, and the nu-metal formation Exilia. From Austria comes the rock'n'roll group Vulvarine, and Italy will also be represented by the band Demetra's Scars.

The program will also feature the Slovak band Royal Question, folk-metal Emerald Shine, and the festival will be opened at 1:00 PM by the Prostějov band Abused & Neglected, which released its fifth studio album Latex Unisex this year.

Visitors can also look forward to a relaxation zone in the castle moat and a wide range of refreshments. Tickets are already on sale through the SMS Ticket network and will also be available on site, until the venue's capacity is reached.
