The Pretty Reckless, led by the unstoppable Taylor Momsen, set Forum Karlín ablaze this fall
The American rock band whose timeless hit Make Me Wanna Die shot them to the top of the charts in 2010 is heading to Prague. The Pretty Reckless' music is anchored by frontwoman Taylor Momsen's unmistakable voice — gritty and powerful, yet at the same time delicate and vulnerable. Their sound blends raw hard rock with more intimate passages, and their lyrics cut straight to the bone. On stage, their commanding presence amplifies this energy even further. That's part of why they've been chosen as openers by The Rolling Stones in Las Vegas and AC/DC on their 2024 PWR Up stadium tour in Europe. In 2025, they didn't hold back either, opening for AC/DC on their U.S. and European tour dates. Rock for People fans will get a taste of that energy this year when The Pretty Reckless join the festival lineup.
This time, the band promises a full-on headline show. They've announced their fifth album, Dear God, along with a supporting tour, and they'll be hitting Prague on November 16, 2026, at Forum Karlín as part of the RFP Concerts series. Tickets go on sale March 20 at 10:00 via the RFP Concerts website.
When Taylor Momsen, at just fourteen, threw aside a budding Hollywood career to fully embrace rock'n'roll, she had no idea the avalanche she was about to set in motion. She formed The Pretty Reckless as a direct answer to the boxes people tried to fit her into. Alongside her, the band consists of guitarist Ben Phillips, drummer Jamie Perkins, and bassist Mark Damon.
Their debut album Light Me Up, featuring the hit Make Me Wanna Die, immediately propelled the band to chart-topping success. Their status as rock icons was cemented with 2014's Going To Hell, which debuted in the top five of the Billboard 200 and produced three consecutive radio number ones. The first single from the upcoming Dear God, For I Am Death, picks up right where they left off — a promising preview of what's to come on the new album.
