The Magic of Solitude and Horizont Live: Michal Hrůza with His Band and Imodium Embark on a Joint Spring Tour

After a successful autumn season, Michal Hrůza and the band Imodium have decided to continue their shared concert energy with the spring leg of their 2026 tour. The series of five shows will take both bands to Pardubice, Most, Brno, Frýdek-Místek, and Olomouc.

On the tour, Michal Hrůza will present his brand-new album Kouzlo samoty (The Magic of Solitude). The album was created gradually over several years and is characterized by deeply personal storytelling, raw emotions, and a focus on authentic life experiences. For example, the title track was written during the singer's journey to the Arctic Circle, which he undertook by car following in his father's footsteps. "Driving six thousand kilometers alone in an old car is about total freedom, about the solitude you choose. The last strong melody I needed to write lyrics for guided my entire fourteen-day trip. After returning home, I wrote the lyrics for the song Kouzlo samoty, and since it concluded a five-year period, I named the entire album after it," the singer explains. During the tour, he and his band will perform both the new songs and well-loved hits from their repertoire.

Imodium will continue their spring tour by presenting their comeback album Horizont, acclaimed by critics and fans alike. "After a series of shows with the album Horizont, last year was focused on preparing for the biggest acoustic concert in our career, which took place at the legendary Nová Spirála. We are now working on releasing a recording of that show, and at the same time, we are already looking forward to returning to electric guitars," says Imodium's vocalist Thom Fröde.

The concerts will feature a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, which is no coincidence. The collaboration between the two frontmen has deep roots – as far back as 2010, Hrůza appeared as a guest on Imodium's album Polarity. "Michal has been my songwriting mentor, although I probably never told him directly. Finally, I'll get to spend time with him on tour and he'll find out. His guest appearance on our song Deset životů (Ten Lives) was a great honor, especially when Michal praised the lyrics back then," Thom adds.

The spring tour will therefore offer not only two full concert sets but also a natural dialogue between musicians who understand each other both musically and personally.

Tickets are available for purchase through Michal Hrůza or Imodium.
