The Florida Storm Is Coming: Wage War Announce New Album Landfall

Florida metalcore outfit Wage War have announced their new album. Following the It Calls Me By Name EP, released this spring, the band are now set to unveil another full-length record.

The album, titled Landfall, will be released digitally on October 9, 2026, via Fearless Records. The record is already available to pre-save on Spotify or pre-order digitally via Bandcamp. The band have also unleashed the first taste of the album in the form of its self-titled single.

"'Landfall' is a song about imminent danger and the realization that we aren't in control," Wage War explain. "Referencing our Florida roots, the hurricane imagery became a way of talking about that feeling of being completely at the mercy of something bigger than yourself. Musically, we wanted the verses to feel heavy and threatening, with the chorus being somber and inevitable."

Wage War last played in the Czech Republic in January 2025, when they appeared as special guests for Papa Roach. While the band currently have no Czech date on their schedule, their upcoming European tour will take them to several neighbouring countries, including Germany in January 2027.
