The Final Day of the Hrady CZ Marathon

Saturday's programme began in the morning, and anyone who thought the festival grounds would be half empty after Friday night was mistaken. The festival town gradually filled up again, and the second and at the same time final day of this year's Hrady CZ got underway beneath Bezděz.

Adaline took to the stage first and drew the audience towards the stages, followed by Tomáš Klus, who undoubtedly entertained everyone, if only with his jumps into the audience and a song in which he described what was going on and even who he was going to take a photo with.

Xindl X proved that his songs are not just radio hits, but that absolutely everyone knows them. Every note got the audience dancing more and more. It was not unusual for the crowd to sing louder than Xindl X himself. Everyone, whether the spectators in front of the stage, the band on stage, or Xindl X himself, made it clear that they intended to enjoy the final Hrady CZ to the fullest. In the end, he played the song that simply could not be missing. Yes, Anděl brought his performance at Hrady CZ to a close.

Lenny did not let up and did not allow the audience to cool down. She showed that her melodies and songs can get more than one soul dancing.

Krucipüsk enjoyed a huge fan base, with the area in front of the stage packed with people singing their songs and jumping to the rhythm. Krucipüsk showed why they are a mainstay of the Czech music scene, and their drummer enjoyed the final Hrady CZ concert on behalf of the entire band. The audience did not give in here either and tried to outsing the vocalist.

Brixtn, the young guys who arrived to show their energy, proved that a band can consist of just two members, especially when they can make it sound good. The audience was cautious at first, but by the end they were enjoying every note the guys produced. It was clear that they had particularly caught the attention of young female fans, who filmed them from the front rows.

Vypsaná Fixa relied both on their biggest hits and on new songs from their latest album. They got the audience into a proper "mess." They also noticed a request for a song and could not simply ignore it. The first notes of Dezolát rang out and the crowd cheered, shouted and sang.

The afternoon gradually passed in a spirit of familiar hits, guitars, and festival relaxation. And although the end of this year's Hrady CZ was slowly approaching, there was certainly no sign of it in the atmosphere. People were still singing and dancing in front of the stages, and everyone was enjoying the final day in their own way.

Harlej once again showed that people do not come to their concerts just to listen. Things were really lively in front of the stage, although the situation from Bousov was not repeated. There was certainly no boredom, though. Harlej switched from one great song to another without unnecessary talking. As they themselves say, they are not a complicated band. They only need a few interjections, and even those seeing them for the first time can sing along with them.

One of the highlights of Saturday's programme was Mirai, who, as at the previous stops, brought not only their music but also an impressive visual show. Their set featured well known songs, projections, and an atmosphere that was beginning to resemble a major stadium concert.

After Mirai, it was time for the final concert of this year's entire festival. Daniel Landa took to the stage, delivering a selection of well known songs and a striking stage show. The audience certainly did not give any indication that they had already been through two days of the festival. Quite the opposite. He gradually drew even the last remaining reserves of energy from the crowd.

After two days beneath Bezděz, there was nothing left to do but pack the tents, collect the last cups, look for lost belongings, and come to terms with the fact that the festival summer was once again a little shorter.

After several weeks during which people gradually moved from one castle to another, suddenly there is nowhere else to go. No more castles, no more stages. Just photographs, memories, and fatigue that will probably be felt for a few more days.

Hrady CZ 2026 has come to an end.

Bezděz certainly did not disappoint as the grand finale, and this year's festival tour received a worthy final chapter. Now all that remains is to pack away the festival equipment, go through all the photographs, put the memories together...
