The band P.O.D. will take over the official afterparty of Rock for People 2026 – twice, in both Prague and Brno.

Fans will be able to end Rock for People 2026 in style. The organizers have announced an official afterparty that will deliver a double dose of energy in the form of concerts by the American band P.O.D., who will play two exclusive shows — one in Prague and one in Brno. They will bring their energetic mix of hard rock, hip-hop, reggae, and alternative music on June 16, 2026, to Lucerna Music Bar, and a day later, on June 17, 2026, to the club Fléda

"We want to give fans the chance to extend their Rock for People experience this year and enjoy it beyond the festival grounds. P.O.D. are a band with great energy that fits perfectly with our afterparty," says festival director Luděk Motyčka.

For each show, fans will also be able to purchase a Meet & Greet package, which includes a general admission ticket, early entry to the venue, a meet-and-greet with the band, a photo opportunity, autographs, and priority access to merchandise. Ticket sales start on April 10 at 10:00 via GoOut.

"We always want our next album or tour to have a deeper meaning. Honor and integrity mean more to us than anything. As long as I'm breathing and able to create, I'm happy," says frontman Sonny Sandoval. Bassist Traa Daniels adds: "P.O.D. is family. It's part of my life just like my wife and kids. It's an honor to be in a band that has touched so many people. We're incredibly lucky to be able to do this."

P.O.D. are one of the long-standing names on the global rock scene, and their success didn't come overnight. After years of playing small clubs and extensive touring, they secured a deal with Atlantic Records, releasing The Fundamental Elements of Southtown in 1999. Their breakthrough came two years later with Satellite, which reached No. 6 on the Billboard 200 chart and earned triple platinum status.

The album includes iconic tracks such as "Alive," "Youth of the Nation," "Boom," and "Satellite," which brought the band three Grammy nominations.

The San Diego quartet — Sonny Sandoval (vocals), Marcos Curiel (guitar), Traa Daniels (bass), and Wuv Bernardo (drums) — have sold over 10 million records and played countless sold-out shows worldwide. Even after many years, they remain creatively active and true to their values.
