Tata Bojs kicked off their Továrna na sny tour in Plzeň

On Thursday, April 2, 2026, dreams were coming true in the Šeříkovka venue in Pilsen. At least that's where Tata Bojs arrived with their Dream Factory concept and essentially their entire new dreamy album V původním snění. Around 8 PM, the venue — which had been sold out for several days — was already completely packed. By about 8:30, Tata Bojs took the stage and began winning over the audience from the very first notes.
This concert is part of the band's current tour supporting V původním snění. Although the tour promotes their new record, it's clear that the band doesn't rely heavily on elaborate stage design. The distinctive voice of Milan Cais and Mardoša's energetic dance moves prove what the band is built on — they don't need big visuals or decorative elements. The only exception was Mardoša's personal amp setup, marked with his name. Unlike most bands, Tata Bojs have their drum kit placed at the front right side of the stage.
They kicked off the set with several new songs, including Třetí osoba and Bůh má problém. Throughout the show, they alternated between new material and older tracks. Roughly half of the new album made it into the setlist, including Továrna na sny and Slovní. Of course, they didn't leave out the long-time fan favorites loved across generations. During Sonda, the singer appeared disguised as the Mona Lisa. While performing the single Zvony, Mardoša briefly got tangled in a cable from Cais's microphone while jumping around — but was quickly freed, and the show continued without pause.
They also played Světová, originally recorded with Vladimir 518. Although he wasn't present, guitarist Vladimír Bár handled his rap part. At one point, the singer even sat behind the drums and delivered an intense performance. Dancing was a big part of the night — for example, during Novej člověk, the band was joined by dancers (their crew members) dressed in disco outfits and helmets.
Naturally, staples like 220 Travoltů, Opakování, Vesmírná, and Pěšáci couldn't be missed, with the entire venue singing along that "není malých rock'n'rollí." One can only wonder whether they really walked back to Prague afterward, as the lyrics suggest. The encore featured Filmařská, Papírovka, and Růžová armáda, accompanied by lighting turned entirely pink. As the audience refused to let them go, the band returned once more. This time, they added a lamp to the stage, creating a cozy, home-like atmosphere perfect for the final encore, V původním snění.
After their final goodbye, Mardoša took out his camera to capture the moment, including the fans, and the band left the stage to Here Comes The Sun. Those who stayed a bit longer had the chance to meet the band near the cloakroom — take photos, exchange a few words, or get merchandise signed.
Big thanks to Tata Bojs and the Šeříkovka venue for the opportunity to experience such a great event and drift into a rock'n'roll dream for a while.
