Steelbound tour arrives in Zlín: Battle Beast, Dominum and Majestica

The evening in Zlín started early, but it was clear upon entering the club that a real metal ride was in store. Fans filled the hall, heads were looking forward to a good dose of power metal, and the air was filled with anticipation, promising an unforgettable concert. The Steelbound tour had arrived in the city and no one wanted to be left behind.

Majestica had a difficult task of opening the evening, but they handled it with absolute mastery. From the first chord of Power Train, the club immediately started to rock, the melodic riffs, precise rhythms and a clear reference to the classic school of power metal worked perfectly. Tommy Johansson pulled the band with his strong vocals and guitar bravura, while Chris David, Petter Hjerpe and Joel Kollberg kept everything together like a well-oiled machine. Songs from the current album and older hits fit together naturally, and Metal United got the crowd going – singing and movement merged into one pulsating whole. The audience was ready for the main charge.

Dominum then brought a dose of darker energy and a visual show that was hard to miss. As soon as the first riffs of Danger Danger started to play, it was clear that this band was not just about costumes and masks. Dr Dead dominated the stage with charisma and absolute confidence, while Patient Zero, Victor Hilltop and Tommy Kemp pushed dense, melodic power metal with heavy choruses. Killed By Life, We Are Forlorn and The Dead Don't Die provoked crazy reactions, the ironic morbidity of the songs contrasted with the positive energy that filled the club. The finale of Immortalis Dominum with balloons in the crowd was explosive, absolutely captivating and clearly showed that Dominum is a band that deserves attention.

Then came the moment everyone was waiting for - Battle Beast. As soon as Noora Louhimo entered the stage, the club fell silent and then exploded. Her voice is precise, strong and dominant, with absolute control over every note. Straight From The Heart immediately got the audience going and set the tone for the entire set – hard riffs, powerful choruses, perfect interplay and energy that didn't leave anyone indifferent.

The new songs from Steelbound fit perfectly into the set. Blood Of Heroes was one of the highlights of the evening – the melody and rhythm worked with the audience as one unit. Last Goodbye, Eye Of The Storm and Master Of Illusion showed that the band has a feel for a song that works both musically and live. There was no shortage of lightness – for example Twilight Cabaret with a light Latin feel moved the whole club and showed that Battle Beast can combine metal power with dance fun without losing their toughness.

The final Eden showed how strong and convincing Noora's vocals are, and the encores King For A Day and Wings Of Light closed the concert in absolute style. Every note, every riff, every chorus – everything fit together and created a night that will not be forgotten in Zlín.

Finally, a big thank you to all the bands for their maximum commitment, energy and honest performance from the first to the last minute. Respect to the technical team for the great sound and lights and to the organizers for the smooth running of the entire event. And of course, thanks to the audience, who created a fantastic atmosphere and showed that power metal in Zlín has a solid and dedicated base. It is precisely such evenings that remind us why live music still makes sense.
