Spiritbox are bringing their first solo show to Prague. In September 2026, they’ll take over Forum Karlín with their latest album, Tsunami Sea.

Canadian band Spiritbox are among the most prominent names in modern heavy music, and their meteoric rise over the past few years has reshaped the contemporary music scene. Following last year's North American tour and a string of European festival appearances, they supported the legendary Linkin Park on three shows, including a spectacular stadium performance at Wembley. In addition, the band has earned three consecutive Grammy nominations for "Best Metal Performance," with their latest nod coming for the track Soft Spine from their most recent album.
Now, Spiritbox are heading to Prague for their very first solo show. On September 25, 2026, at Forum Karlín, the band will present their latest album as part of the Tsunami Sea European Tour 2026. Special guests Jinjer and Dying Wish will also join the evening's lineup.
"All my tears turn into a sea like a tsunami," sings frontwoman Courtney LaPlante, a metaphor that perfectly captures the essence of the new album. Tsunami Sea, released at the beginning of last year, uses the imagery of a tidal wave engulfing the band's hometown as a symbol for internal struggles. LaPlante openly addresses topics such as mental health, isolation, fear, depression, and imposter syndrome. "It's kind of funny when you realize most of the songs are about my depression, and yet I'm on stage having fun and dancing," she says, speaking about heavy themes with remarkable ease and charisma.
Spiritbox were founded in 2017 by Courtney LaPlante and guitarist Mike Stringer, with Zev Rosenberg on drums and Josh Gilbert on bass completing the current lineup. After releasing two independent EPs, they drew major attention with their debut album Eternal Blue (2021), which reached #13 on the Billboard 200. In 2022, they released the industrial-tinged EP Rotoscope, followed a year later by the melodically striking The Fear of Fear. Hits like Jaded and Callar Door earned the band their first two Grammy nominations, cementing their status in the metal world.
