SONAATA: Female Power, Rock Energy and Raw Emotions in the Rhythm of Alternative Rock

SONAATA is the stage name of singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Soňa Bachledová, who brings feminine energy to today's alternative rock scene. Her music combines the power of modern rock with catchy pop melodies and honest lyrics about mental health, relationships and self-acceptance. The project naturally follows in the footsteps of artists such as Paramore, Avril Lavigne, The Warning and The Pretty Reckless.

Soňa Bachledová comes from Košice, Slovakia, and has sung in several school and original bands and choirs since the age of 13. She later moved to Prague, where she studied rock singing and bass guitar. She now works professionally as a vocal coach in the capital.

Experience:

Before she began writing and releasing her own music, she performed in several professional musical groups, for example as:

• a member of Tereza Balonová's band, with whom she also performed at Prague's O2 arena and on national television
• a backing vocalist in Balage Band at Lucerna Music Bar
• a musician on Adam Ďurica's studio recordings

She subsequently established herself as a solo artist under the name SONAATA. Her achievements include

• her debut at the Rock for People festival, where she earned a place through a fan vote.
• releasing the EP Under Surface, several singles and music videos.
