Sojčí terror took over Plzeň: Trautenberk arrived and brought Civilní Obrana as well

On Saturday, February 21, 2026, Trautenberk rolled into Šeříkovka in Plzeň, led by none other than Jemnostpán Trautenberk and his tanzmetal crew. The band officially kicked off the spring leg of their Sojčí Terror tour, named after their latest album released at the end of last year.

Shortly after 7 PM, the venue doors opened to a crowd of eager fans. Some rushed straight into the hall to secure the best spots right under the stage. The evening began with a band signing session — the musicians gathered at tables, took photos with fans, and happily signed everything from official autograph cards and tickets to caps. Naturally, a few signatures also ended up in the necklines of their devoted female admirers.

We then moved back to the stage, where the night's live program was launched by Civilní Obrana from Čáslav, who are joining Trautenberk for several stops on this tour. The guys threw themselves into the performance without hesitation, quickly heating up the packed crowd. LED panels and CO₂ effects added extra punch to the show. Alongside fan favorites like Tereza, I Like Mrkvička, Kytarová muzika, Chlap, and Nezapomenutelná, they also introduced fresh tracks from their new album, including Vyzenovanej and Dycky Rizz. The new record, GenCO, was released digitally at the end of last year, and it looks like a physical edition might arrive this spring. The band is also celebrating 20 years this year — marking the occasion on November 14, 2026, with a major show at Prague's Lucerna – Velký sál, to which they warmly invited all their fans.

After a quick stage reset, it was time for Trautenberk. Their stage design remains true to their signature mountain aesthetic — complete with peaks, tree stumps, and the ever-present outhouse — transporting the audience straight into the mythical realm of Krakonoš. They opened with the well-known Buržoust, followed immediately by the new track Umaštěný Tváře. At one point, they asked everyone to squat down — and the moment Jelito kicked in, the entire crowd was jumping in unison. Classics like Pan Pilous, Mužoretka, and Anička followed — the latter dedicated to the band's only "lady," portrayed by their bassist: smart, beautiful, and wealthy Anička. We were also let in on a "huge secret" — band-Annička has mastered skating backwards and can even perform a "překládačka" in Japanese. Alongside older hits, newer tracks such as Elegán and Když už tak už made their live mark. During Potužník senior, a blue trash bin was launched into the raging crowd — and by the time it returned to the stage, only a small fragment of it survived.

Before the encore, the traditional division of the crowd into left and right sides returned, complete with the usual debate over which side was superior. As always, the winner had to be decided by force. I honestly have no idea who came out on top — but the clash of the two "armies" seamlessly evolved into a perfectly synchronized circle pit.

The encore began in true Trautenberk fashion: Himlhergotdonrvetr started inside the outhouse, from which singer Horst dramatically emerged. It was followed by Netáhlo and a final farewell with the coal-miner anthem Hajný je lesa pán.

During the evening, the band invited everyone to their hometown of Klatovy for Obrfest 2026 — their own mini-festival taking place at the local cultural center on June 21, 2026. Besides Trautenberk and Civilní Obrana, the lineup will include Brno's Morčata na Útěku. And of course, the annual HimlHergotFest will return on September 5, 2026, at the Amphitheatre Plaza, featuring Jemnostpán and many friendly bands. Walda Gang have already been confirmed, with more names to follow.

A huge thank you to Jemnostpán of Trautenberk and all his friends — including Civilní Obrana, for bringing the mighty Sojčí Terror and many more songs our way, and for letting us once again be part of it all in Krakonoš's realm.

Here are a few snapshots — as always, the full gallery will be available on our ZONERAMA.
