Škwor ON THE EDGE: A Fresh Blast of Czech Rock Metal

In mid-October, fans of Czech metal can look forward to a new album from rock-metal band Škwor. The album will be released on 15 October 2026 via Supraphon. Entitled Na hraně, it will feature 14  tracks. This will be the band's twelfth studio album, following their platinum-certified 2023 release Sobě věrnej.

The album promises a modern, energetic rock sound driven by a powerful rhythm section, with the band handling production themselves. Strong choruses and catchy melodies should appeal not only to longtime fans but also to new listeners. The band has already unveiled three singles from the record: Na hraně, Klíč and Tajný přání.

The album is already available to pre-save on Spotify and will also be released on CD and LP. Collectors can look forward to an exclusive box set featuring a limited-edition coloured vinyl record, a CD, a signed photograph, a poster, a unique download code for the digital edition, and numerous other collectible items. The box set will be strictly limited to 333 copies. All editions of the album can be pre-ordered from the band's official online shop.

To support the album, Škwor will embark on a major arena tour in spring 2027, titled Škwor – NA HRANĚ Tour 2027. The band will visit a number of cities across the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

So, which "edge" of the country will you head to?
