Rybičky 48 serve up a Nebeskou pránu! And reveal their plans for this year.

Last autumn, the band Rybičky 48 released the album BigBýt. During the arena tour that followed the release, more precisely at the very first stop in Brno, BigBýt was awarded a Gold Record for its sales. Shortly after, at Prague's Forum Karlín, the musicians were already celebrating a Platinum award.
Now the band is introducing another track from BigBýt – the rock-epic ballad Nebeská prána. "This song probably has the strongest emotional meaning for me. I wrote it on the day of my 40th birthday, late at night with a guitar in my hands, when I realized that the average life expectancy in the Czech Republic is around 80 years. It hit me that if I'm lucky enough to reach that average, I already have half of my life behind me – but also half of my life still ahead of me. It forced me into a lot of reflection. Then I started thinking about what they might play at my funeral one day, and I hoped it wouldn't be 'Až mě andělé zavolají k sobě'. It's a beautiful song, but it's played at almost every funeral. I couldn't find a better one, so I wrote one myself. So this is the song that will play when I go to the eternal hunting grounds one day. It's also a song I cried with joy while composing, and I cried again when recording it in the studio. It just somehow vibrates with me. But honestly, I have no idea why," reveals Rybičky 48 frontman, singer, bassist, composer and lyricist Kuba Ryba.
For such a crucial song in Kuba Ryba's life, a music video was made in the deepest frost and snow under the direction of Jakub Mahdal. It was shot at a forester's lodge near Přelouč – and the author of the rock ballad experienced more than he bargained for. "We filmed the video at the beginning of January. The original date was mid-December, but there was no snow. So we postponed it, and I really, really wished for snow and frost. And we got it! Just not quite that much frost – it was minus 17 degrees Celsius, the coldest day in a long time. And since I strip naked and walk barefoot the whole time, it was pure adrenaline. But we all survived," Ryba explains.
The members of Rybičky 48 are now recharging their batteries both at home and abroad. After they return, they will begin preparing the fourth and final Megakoncerts in the park beneath the Vlašský dvůr in Kutná Hora – probably the most beautiful open-air venue where these shows can be held. They will take place on May 22 and 23, 2026, but this time the organizers are adding one extra day. Fans will be able to come to Kutná Hora already on Thursday for a so-called warm-up day, and admission on that day will be free.
Everything suggests that it will be sold out again. Everyone can look forward to a spectacular light show, pyrotechnics, and above all a massive musical experience. In addition to Rybičky 48 themselves, who will perform on both main evenings, the event will also feature Janek Ledecký, Jaroslav Uhlíř, Kamil Střihavka, Ivan Hlas, O5 & Radeček, Mňága a Žďorp, UDG, Cocotte Minute, Vltava, Byt č. 4, and Slavíček, among others. Rybičky 48 will also announce why this year's Megakoncerts will be the last ones – and reveal their bold plans for 2027.
But before that, this autumn – after the already mentioned successful BigBýt Tour across large arenas – the band will head back to clubs and cultural halls, to the places where it all began and where Rybičky 48 grew up. As special guests on the FACE TO(ur) FACE Tour, the band Koblížci will join them, and fans can look forward to a total of 24 concerts at legendary venues where the band's history was written.
"No flames, no confetti, no fire. Just us with our gear and only a few centimeters away from the fans. That's what we're really excited about!" adds Kuba Ryba in conclusion.
Tickets for the FACE TO(ur) FACE Tour are available on GoOut.
