Rot Kart Fest 2026: a new home, the same spirit of helping

Rot Kart Fest 2026 is moving to Hanušovice this year. The change of venue does not alter what matters most the festival remains a charity event, with the aim of helping Roman Karas's five children, who found themselves in a difficult life situation following the sudden death of their mother.

Why the festival is moving

For four editions, the festival's home was the area behind Sýpka in Losiny. It was more than just a venue it was a true meeting place filled with people, friendships and an atmosphere that money simply cannot buy.

But the meadow where the stage stood until recently is now changing. New houses are beginning to be built there. If the charity event was to continue, a new home had to be found.

And it was found in Hanušovice.

Every year we returned there almost as if we were coming home - to people you might not see for an entire year, yet the moment you meet again, it feels as though you only said goodbye yesterday."
