The festival has closed the gates on its 31st edition, reaffirming its position as one of the most significant music events in Central Europe. However, fans did not leave empty-handed. On Saturday evening, after headliner Halsey's performance, the organizers prepared a major surprise by announcing the first headliner for the 2027 edition: the iconic American punk rock band blink-182. Alongside the first world-class act, the organizers also revealed the dates for next year's festival, which will take place from June 2–5, 2027. During this year's five-day event, a total of 235,000 visits were recorded at Park 360 in Hradec Králové. Each day, nearly 50,000 fans enjoyed hundreds of concerts, dozens of hours of accompanying programs, and the unforgettable atmosphere that Rock for People is known for. "After every edition, we tell ourselves that we've experienced something truly special once again. This year was no different. Huge thanks go to the best music fans, our partners, artists, and the entire organizing team. Thanks to them, Rock for People has a unique energy that keeps pushing us forward," says festival director Luděk Motyčka. "When we see tens of thousands of people enjoying the festival to the fullest despite the challenging weather and leaving with smiles on their faces, we know exactly why we do this," adds festival founder Michal Thomes.

This year's edition once again featured performances by global music superstars, including the dreamlike Gorillaz, the relentless troublemakers Limp Bizkit, fan favorites Bring Me The Horizon, the genre-defying Halsey, who completely captivated the audience, and last but certainly not least, the legendary Iron Maiden. They closed the festival's final day with a spectacular two-hour set, proving they remain in stellar form.

Strong Emotions and Unique Festival Moments

For several days, Park 360 transformed into a vibrant city of its own, filled with music, art, social gatherings, gastronomy, and unforgettable experiences. Fans packed the grounds from the first afternoon performances until the late-night program, creating the atmosphere that has become one of the festival's defining characteristics. The opening day was launched by none other than the beloved Vypsaná fiXa. Besides the headliners, festival-goers particularly praised performances by The All-American Rejects, BABYMETAL, Papa Roach, A Day To Remember, The Pretty Reckless, and Electric Callboy, all of whom received nearly as much applause as the main attractions. For genre-spanning delights, audiences enjoyed the chaotic and energetic Joey Valence & Brae, the drum & bass assault of Delta Heavy, and the British cover band The 900: Tony Hawk's Pro Skater Cover Band, performing soundtracks from the cult-classic Tony Hawk's Pro Skater video game series.

Among the domestic acts, legendary Dan Bárta reunited with Alice to perform his greatest hits, Lenka Dusilová celebrated her 50th birthday with special guest David Koller, and Jiří Pavlica with Hradišťan delivered this year's traditional retro set. Pavlica also delighted local seniors from Hradec Králové, who attended the concert thanks to a partnership with Rock for People.

As every year, the organizers filled the lineup with surprises. Fans enjoyed an energetic wake-up call from P/\ST, as well as secret shows by The Hara, Sunborn, TX2, and many others.

The non-musical program was equally rich, with the ČT Art and Reflex stages serving as its main hubs. Visitors embraced Daniel Stach's brand-new show Within Reach, which explored the topic of emotions. After a two-year absence, the South Bohemian firefighter brass band Božejáci returned to Rock for People, while Cimbálová muzika Friška brought a touch of traditional folk culture. Other highlights included the ever-popular AZ Quiz, acrobatic performances by Loosers Cirque Company, and dozens of additional attractions.

Services Across the Festival Grounds

Once again, the festival transformed into a self-sufficient miniature city. Park 360 underwent further expansion around the main Mastercard Stage and introduced a brand-new ČT Art Stage with a capacity of 4,000 visitors. The festival also continued to expand its sustainability initiatives and cooperation with non-profit organizations. An enlarged non-profit zone and a new safe space area focused on prevention, harm reduction, and mental health support became integral parts of the event.

Upgraded and restructured sanitary facilities proved highly successful. During the five festival days, approximately five million liters of water flowed through the venue. The comfort of more than 80,000 unique visitors was supported by 1,070 toilets and 450 showers. More than 30,000 people used the campground showers. The festival also continued its sustainable practices by reusing approximately 200,000 liters of shower water for toilet flushing.

With the conclusion of its 31st edition, Rock for People closes another successful chapter in its history. The organizers are already preparing for the next year. With unforgettable performances and the announcement of blink-182 as the first headliner of 2027, the festival enters a new cycle determined to push the boundaries of the Czech festival scene even further.
