Organisers of the Rock for People are adding the final part of the lineup for this year's edition, which will take place from June 10 to 14 at Park 360. They are presenting a rich accompanying programme that will connect music with theatre, thought-provoking discussions, workshops, circus performances, burlesque, and a wide range of other activities. This year's edition will be enriched by the return of the legendary Božejáci with their South Bohemian brass band sound, contemporary circus performances by Losers Cirque Company, and the traditional burlesque show by The Prague Burlesque Show. There will also be discussions and debates featuring figures from the cultural and media spheres, including programmes by Czech Television, Reflex, the "Díky, že můžem" initiative, and the organisation Nevypusť duši. Visitors can look forward to a wide range of performances and discussions reflecting current social issues and cultural phenomena. As festival director Luděk Motyčka says: "We want Rock for People to be not only a music festival, but also a place of entertainment, inspiration, and open dialogue. This year's accompanying programme connects music even more strongly with current topics, humour, and art in its many forms."

Rock for People 2026 is fast approaching, and the gates of Park 360 will open in 42 days. Alongside additional lineup announcements, the organising team is also preparing improvements to the festival grounds, focusing on visitor comfort and sustainability.

Once again, the festival confirms that it is far more than just about music. A major part of this year's programme will be discussions and debates with public figures. Topics include "Can music change the world?" within the Culture for Future slot, a historical look at the Czech metal scene of the 1980s and 1990s, and the role of artificial intelligence in music within the "AI, brain and rock'n'roll" block. Czech Television will once again be present with its popular AZ Quiz, a screening of "90s hit parade of bizarre moments," and a StarDance dance workshop. A special surprise in collaboration with Czech Television will also be hosted by Daniel Stach. Reflex will bring its own stage featuring popular podcasts such as Poprask, Prostor X, and Padni komu padni.

The musical part of the accompanying programme will offer unconventional projects and performances across genres. Alongside Božejáci, acts such as Cimbálová muzika Friška, the percussion show Groove Army – Royal Squad, the Romani pop band Lomnické Čháve, Orchestr Ježkovy stopy, and the female collective Sestry Chalupovy will appear on stage.

A strong focus will also be placed on live podcasts and talk shows, including popular Headliner formats such as "Hudební masakry," NOTY VOLE!, and Půda. The programme will also include socially focused debates, for example "Prague Pride 2026: What do we celebrate and what are we still fighting for?" The theatre and performance section will feature shows by Losers Cirque Company (Konkurz, Onyx), The Prague Burlesque Show (Velvet Hammer), and unique formats such as God Save The Drama Queen and The Studio 32 (Musical) Comedy Show!.

New features at Rock for People and Park 360

Fans can look forward to an expanded area around the main stage, providing more space during performances on the Mastercard Stage, while the VIP platform will be relocated to this zone. The new area will also host the EcoFlow stage and a food court with a wide selection of food stalls. Another improvement includes a shorter walking route from parking and shuttle stops to the main entrance. The ČT Art Stage will also be renewed with a new tent. Shuttle transport will be significantly increased, helping reduce individual car usage and lowering the festival's overall carbon footprint. Hygiene facilities will also be expanded and restructured.

Sustainability and cooperation with the non-profit sector continue to be key themes. A new water-focused zone will address water resource management and protection. Waste management efforts will focus especially on campsites, aiming to reduce mixed waste, increase recycling rates, and support the recovery and charitable reuse of camping equipment that would otherwise go to waste.

The non-profit sector continues to grow and evolve. Alongside the traditional NGO zone featuring organisations such as Hnutí Brontosaurus, Člověk v tísni, Sue Ryder, Rostlinně, Fuck Cancer, and Sea Shepherd, a new safe space zone will be introduced, focusing on harm reduction and safety in the festival environment. Organisations including Cesta z krize, Neticho, Laxus, and the Czech AIDS Help Society will provide support for visitor wellbeing and safety.

The festival is approaching a sell-out. In addition to COMFY+, VIP, and Thursday tickets, Wednesday tickets for the Gorillaz day are also nearly gone. Tickets are available via the official Rock for People website: https://rockforpeople.cz/tickets/. Organisers also emphasise that the only safe secondary market for buying and selling tickets is TicketSwap, which guarantees authenticity of resold tickets.
