Rock for People announces CZ/SK lineup – featuring Ben Cristovao, Anděl Award winner James Cole, Lenka Dusilová, and Tata Bojs
The 31st edition of the Rock for People festival, taking place from June 10 to 14 at Park 360 in Hradec Králové and traditionally welcoming over 50,000 fans, has announced dozens of new additions to its lineup. These latest names represent the Czech and Slovak scenes, joining global headliners including Gorillaz, Limp Bizkit, Bring Me The Horizon, Halsey, and Iron Maiden. "We are not slowing down when it comes to booking domestic acts either. The lineup will be expanded, for example, by Ben Cristovao, who is preparing a main stage performance, this year's Anděl Awards winners James Cole & Idea, Marie April, as well as a tribute to Zuzana Navarová performed by the Hradec Philharmonic," says festival director Luděk Motyčka. "Younger audiences will surely appreciate the Slovak synth-punk duo Berlin Manson, pop-rock singer Simon Opp, lyricist and songwriter Kvietah, and many others," he adds.
The festival continues its strong momentum from last year and is rapidly approaching a full sell-out. Organizers warn that only 5% of tickets remain. VIP, COMFY+, and Thursday one-day passes are already completely sold out, and only the final batch of tickets for Sunday's added day featuring Iron Maiden is still available. Upgrades for grandstand seating with the best view of the main stage are also on sale for each day, though capacity is limited. All tickets are available via the Rock for People website.
The Czech and Slovak scene will also be represented by Lenka Dusilová with guest David Koller, performing a special set created for the singer's 50th birthday celebration. Returning festival favorites include MC Gey with a live band and DJ Madface, as well as ŠatySVlečkou. Long-time staples Tata Bojs will return, alongside Bratislava dream-pop group Tolstoys, musician and DJ Ventolin, and Slovak rapper Gleb. The lineup will also feature the circus-inspired collective Circus Brothers, known for their Balkan brass-infused sound, and the playful bejbypunk act Kašpárek v rohlíku. Heavy stoner rock will be delivered by Acid Row, while hardcore metal energy comes courtesy of TCHERT.
A special slot in collaboration with Radio Wave's Startér will feature teige, an emerging act blending alternative, indie, and dream pop, currently holding second place in the Startér rankings.
Rock for People has also unveiled its new official merch collection for 2026, available for pre-order until April 30, 2026 via www.store.rockforpeople.cz. On-site availability will be limited to the most in-demand items. The collection was traditionally designed in collaboration with Lukáš Król, and now also features contributions from designers Jan Diviš, Lucie Uherková, and Yoga Putra Bintar, bringing an even more diverse range of styles.
In the coming weeks, organizers will reveal the full timetable and accompanying program on ČT art and the Reflex discussion stage. Visitors can look forward to debates, stand-up comedy, screenings, and live performances. The final round of the Planetrox band competition will also take place at Rock for People 2026, with the winning act earning a performance at Canada's Envol et Macadam festival, where this year's lineup includes Bad Religion, Hatebreed, Despised Icon, and many more.
With the festival nearing a sell-out and VIP, COMFY+, and Thursday day tickets already gone, organizers once again emphasize that the only safe secondary market for tickets is TicketSwap.cz, which guarantees authenticity.
