POLYMOON RELEASE NEW TRACK GLASS HOUSE, MORTAL ROOMS, ANNOUNCE THIRD ALBUM MARIPOSA MAGIC!

POLYMOON are back with Mariposa Magic!, their third album and most expansive record to date, available to pre-order now via Vesperian – and to mark the occasion, the band is releasing a brand-new track today. Glass House, Mortal Rooms is the second single from Mariposa Magic! and an immediate statement of intent.
Running over seven minutes, the track pulls the listener through surging momentum, luminous detail, and constantly shifting passages that never lose their emotional focus bold, finely crafted, and deeply rewarding, it shows how far POLYMOON can stretch their sound without losing the melodic immediacy that makes it resonate. The song is accompanied by a brand new music video, out now.
The Finnish band call their sound "psychedelic post-gaze." We're not entirely sure what that means but after one full listen, we just understood. Mariposa Magic! builds on the foundation of Caterpillars of Creation and Chrysalis and pushes it further outward: shimmering guitars, hypnotic textures, melodies that bloom slowly and dissolve into luminous layers of sound. It is an album designed to be lived inside, endlessly replayable, and rewarding with new detail on every listen.
The album was recorded and mixed by Valtteri Väänänen at Lammaskallion Audio and mastered by Jaakko Viitalähde cut directly to lacquer and sent straight to the pressing plant, preserving the full warmth and dynamics of the original recording in the vinyl master.
Cover photography is by Elizaveta Porodina, the Munich-based visual artist whose distinctive, painterly work has graced campaigns for Dior, Louis Vuitton, and Chanel, and whose portraits of Zendaya, Brad Pitt, and Bella Hadid have appeared across multiple international editions of Vogue.
Mariposa Magic! will be released on Vesperian on September 4, 2026.
