POLY NOIR Heads to Prague, Brno and Nové Město na Moravě

POLY NOIR, the project of Poly, frontman of INSANIA, is heading out for another series of live shows. His music blends dark country and noir Americana, bringing together echoes of cinematic westerns, spirituals and raw singer-songwriter traditions. His influences include Ennio Morricone, Johnny Cash, Leonard Cohen and Nick Cave.
The live repertoire is built around the album K mýmu ohni nesedej, released in 2024. On stage, Poly is accompanied by THE HOLY SPIRIT SMUGGLERS, featuring Tom Šlápota (bass), Jan Fic (guitar) and David Horák (drums).
At the three upcoming concerts, POLY NOIR will share the stage with MAGICKÁ NOC, a project led by Jan Vozáry and Luboš Vodák. The project offers a unique interpretation of cult songs by THE PLASTIC PEOPLE OF THE UNIVERSE in a "digital underground" style, originally developed in the 1990s by Jan Vozáry and Milan "Mejla" Hlavsa. MAGICKÁ NOC returned to the stage to mark what would have been Mejla Hlavsa's 75th birthday, coinciding with the release of the official CD reissue of Magická noc (In Memories of the Plastic People).
