Obscene Society Fest 2026 Draws In with a Bolt Thrower Tribute SPEARHEAD, SKITSYSTEM, CYTOTOXIN, and SUBLIME CADAVERIC DECOMPOSITION

Obscene Society Fest, often referred to as a "small Obscene Extreme Festival," returned to Pardubice in 2023 after a ten-year hiatus — and this year's edition once again delivers a crushing mix of genres. While grindcore remains at its core, the lineup also brings in old-school death metal, thrash, and technical precision.

This one-day indoor festival takes place at Klub ABC and is organized by Obscene Productions and Insane Society. Now in its fourth year since the revival, it promises twelve top-tier bands, a mini beer fest, a grind market, and vegan catering. On top of that, there's a special occasion to celebrate — the birthday of a young grinder, the grandson of Čurby.

Among the biggest highlights this year are German technical death metal force CYTOTOXIN, legendary Swedish d-beat pioneers SKITSYSTEM, the long-awaited return of French death-grind act SUBLIME CADAVERIC DECOMPOSITION, and SPEARHEAD — a powerful German tribute to BOLT THROWER.

The full-day sonic assault kicks off at 3 PM with KRUSADIST, a promising new thrash/speed act set to launch their new album right on stage. They'll be followed by grind-heavy acts MORBID ANGEL DUST and AMOCLEN, while PROLAPSED will bring in heavier death metal riffs. The program then dives back into grindcore territory with SICK SINUS SYNDROME, Slovakia's ATTACK OF RAGE, and PURULENT SPERMCANAL. Thrash fans will also get their fix with EXORCIZPHOBIA, who are currently releasing a new album.

After the headline performances, the night will close out with a party set by DJ BILOS, spinning everything from ABBA to Napalm Death — perfect for anyone whose train isn't leaving just yet.
