New single MØNØDREAM – BLISSASTER: darkness, chaos and power you must hear! 🔥

MØNØDREAM is the new solo project of singer Martin Čupka, who is well known to the Czech metalcore audience as frontman John Wolfhooker. Barely a few weeks ago, the band uncompromisingly opened its era with the debut single THE MØURNING AFTER and serves up a visually captivating clip full of hidden entities and ghosts. The biggest shock is hidden in the lyrics – a raw, merciless confession about a relationship crumbling under the weight of betrayal and uncertainty. THE MØURNING AFTER is an exhausting confession of the desire to escape the numbing pain and finally "wake up" to freedom when it's all over.
The band is not idle and comes with a new single BLISSASTER, accompanied by a brand new clip. Musically, it's an uncompromising genre whirlwind! The song overwhelmingly transitions from punk to metalcore aggression – Martin's characteristic scream is also present, which leads to a surprising melodic conclusion with theatricality à la QUEEN! The text itself then captures a person who collapses under pressure and chaos, but at the same time finds the strength within himself to face the darkness and start over.
Interestingly, BLISSASTER has personal roots. Martin stated on the band's Facebook profile that BLISSASTER was written at a time when he didn't feel like himself and desperately needed something to move him forward and remind him that he could stand on his own two feet. Although it was released as the second single, know that it was the first ever song written by MØNØDREAM!
The song was produced by Martin Čupka with Petr Kelbl, but the main thing happened during the mastering. It was produced by none other than Joel Wanasek – an American producer who has worked with names like Atilla, Ice Nine Kills, Machine Head.
Although we will have to wait for MØNØDREAM's live debut, there is already merch out there to support the band. Turn up the BLISSASTER and get ready to see this band set to become another big name on the Czech metalcore scene!
