NERVOSA turn up full power: new album Slave Machine strikes in April 2026

The Brazilian-Greek death/thrash commando NERVOSA announces a full-force return. Their sixth album Slave Machine will be released on April 3, 2026 via Napalm Records and promises a no-compromise assault that confirms the band as one of the most dangerous forces in today's extreme metal.
After years on the world's biggest stages, from Wacken to Hellfest, NERVOSA deliver an album that fuses raw old-school aggression with modern sharpness. Founding guitarist and frontwoman Prika Amaral, who fully took over lead vocals on Jailbreak (2023), drives the band forward with even greater confidence and rage.
As before, the album was created in collaboration with producer Martin Furia (DESTRUCTION), which is evident in the dense, unpolished sound and the strong emphasis on riffs, tempo, and sheer pressure. Twelve new tracks present NERVOSA in their heaviest yet also most melodic form—fast passages alternate with crushing mid-tempo moments, without unnecessary frills, but with maximum impact.
Alongside the album announcement, the band released the title track "Slave Machine," which serves as a clear statement: NERVOSA have no intention of slowing down or making compromises. Multiple vocal layers, razor-sharp guitars, and unexpected twists suggest that the new record will be varied while remaining one hundred percent faithful to its roots.
Prika Amaral adds about the album: "Slave Machine is the most brutal and at the same time the most melodic album we've ever made. We're moving forward, but we're not forgetting where we came from."
Slave Machine thus feels like another decisive step ahead—confident, aggressive, and merciless. NERVOSA are back and sound stronger than ever.
