MIKI ROCK FESTIVAL 2026: A day full of metal, great atmosphere, and honest headbanging in Horní Jiřetín
Metal fans, take note! On Saturday, June 20, 2026, the Miki Rock Festival will take place in Horní Jiřetín near Most, in the area of the former railway station. The event will deliver a full day of metal across various subgenres, a friendly atmosphere, quality refreshments, and the option to camp directly on site.
On a single stage, both Czech and international bands will perform, creating a unique musical experience for all fans of heavy music.
FATAL PUNISHMENT (CZ)
A thrash metal band from Litoměřice formed in 2019. They quickly built a name on the Czech metal scene thanks to energetic live shows and an uncompromising thrash sound. Fans of both classic and modern thrash metal should not miss their performance.
DESTROY! (CZ)
The band gained major attention with their debut EP Pomsta společnosti (2023), produced under the guidance of acclaimed Czech guitarist Pavel Marcel. Destroy! have performed at major festivals such as ETEF Fest, Votvírák, and OAMF Přeštěnice, and have shared the stage with bands like Titanic, Debustrol, Exorcizphobia, Catastrofy, and Mean Messiah.
VANGUARD (CZ)
Experienced metal musicians with more than 200 club and festival shows across the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Germany, Austria, and Portugal. They performed at Masters of Rock in 2022 and 2025 and at Czech Death Fest in 2023, making them one of the most interesting acts on the domestic scene.
V.A.R. (CZ)
A legend of Czech thrash metal, formed in 1989 in Liberec. The band's name is inspired by Vratislavice beer, and over their long career they have released numerous albums and played hundreds of concerts, securing their place in the Czech metal history.
ARCHEONIC (CZ)
Groove metal band from Mohelnice active since 2015. After their first official show in 2016, they have gained experience across the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, and Ukraine. They bring a modern mix of heaviness and groove-driven metal energy.
EXTÁZE (CZ)
A heavy metal band from Karlovy Vary active since 1985. Their music follows the traditional Czech metal school and continues to deliver a characteristic sound that appeals to multiple generations of fans.
WARBELL (PL)
A melodic death metal band from Wrocław, Poland. They have released two full-length albums and one EP, played around 150 shows in ten countries, and appeared at major European festivals including Metal Underground Resistance Open Air in Germany.
TEETH OF LAMB (DE)
A German thrash metal band formed in 2016. They have released several EPs and studio recordings and regularly perform across European club and festival stages.
TREASONDOM (RO)
A four-piece band from Transylvanian Romania blending death metal, thrash metal, grindcore, and crust punk. Since 2017, they have become a notable name on the underground scene, with their 2025 album The Flesh Consumes The Mind receiving critical acclaim.
ODRAEDIR (CZ)
A Prague-based pagan metal band combining dark atmosphere, epic melodies, and modern metal elements. Their EP Abyss features their most ambitious composition to date, involving five vocalists.
ZODIAC (CZ)
A band from Přibyslav originally formed in 1995 under the name CHRCHLOR. In 1998 they released their demo Bůh tě hledá and adopted the name Zodiac. They play melodic death metal and have released four studio albums throughout their career.
