Metal Storm in Hluk: Arakain and Dymytry at Full Power

02/04/2026

Two pillars of the Czech metal scene, Arakain and Dymytry, joined forces once again and delivered a night in Hluk that had power, drive, and emotion. The sports hall was packed long before the show began, the air buzzing with anticipation — it was clear this wouldn't be just another stop on the tour. The moment both bands appeared together on stage and launched into Jedna krev, the venue exploded. No intro, no slow build-up — straight to full throttle. Two worlds, two generations, but one shared energy flowing between stage and crowd like a surging wave.

After the joint opening, Arakain took over and proved why they remain a cornerstone of Czech metal history. The second song, "Rány", immediately intensified the atmosphere, pulling the audience into a relentless tempo. "Strážci času" followed, sparking the first massive singalongs, before "Diesel" hit with a heavy riff that drove the crowd into motion. "K zemi přibitej" kept the pressure high, showing the band was in a no-compromise mode.

Mid-set brought a shift in mood with the acoustic "Jedna věta". Honza Toužimský stood almost alone with his guitar while the crowd sang along so powerfully it echoed through the entire hall. It was one of those moments that prove Arakain aren't just legends — they're still capable of striking deep emotional chords.

Returning to electric form, Arakain delivered "Klub rváčů" in a heavier, tighter version that gave the song a whole new edge. The classic chant "co je, co je" instantly reignited the crowd, leading into "Proč", performed with energy bouncing between stage and audience. It was clear the band was in exceptional form.

After a drum duel between Doksanský and Meier — a moment that got even the resting fans back on their feet — Dymytry took over and pushed things even further. "My ještě nechcem jít", "Digitální tráva", and "Revolter" all hit with surgical precision, while the return of "Zůstaň stejná" delighted longtime fans.

Midway through their set, a brief interruption occurred when a fan in the crowd needed assistance. The band immediately stopped, the situation was quickly resolved, and the show continued. When they returned, the energy felt even more intense — as if the entire hall had regrouped and surged forward together.

Toward the end, both bands reunited for a shared block that became one of the night's highlights. It began with "Neztrácíme náboj", even heavier live than on record, followed by "Žít svůj sen", which had the whole venue singing, and the ever-reliable crowd igniter "Slečna závist". "Adieu" brought an emotional moment before the night closed with "Apage Satanas" — massive, loud, and communal, exactly as it should be. Two Urbans on stage, generations of fans below, one night proving that metal is more than music — it's a way of life.

Hluk experienced a concert that had everything — power, emotion, respect, energy, and unforgettable moments. Arakain and Dymytry once again proved that when they join forces, the result carries real weight. And this night had more than enough of it.

Thank you to everyone who came, supported the bands, and created an atmosphere that won't be forgotten. Metal lives because of you.
