Metal/Core Tour: The power of the scene even in a chamber atmosphere

On Saturday, November 8, 2025, the evening belonged to the Uherské Hradiště Club of Peace and hard music. Three Czech bands performed at the Metal/Core Tour stop — From Insight, Hand Grenade, and Porta Inferi. The attendance was more intimate, but the atmosphere was all the more personal and intense.
The Brno band From Insight opened the evening with confidence and great sound. Their progressive metalcore set immediately drew the audience into the action and prepared everyone for the evening's operating temperature. The songs Through Flames, Sick, Nothing Left, Leave Me Be were played, and they closed the whole show with the strong track Drown. Excellent technique, emotions, and communication with the audience confirmed that this band has its feet on the ground.
Next came Hand Grenade, who kicked off the evening straightforwardly and without compromise with the song KLEC. This was followed by the hits V srdci, Do Tmy, Dopamin, Ve vzpomínkách and Fénix. The band also introduced a brand new song MONOPOL, which was received with enthusiasm by the audience. Hand Grenade offered a hard sound, precise riffs, strong vocals and direct contact with the fans — a set full of energy that did not stop for a second.
The evening ended with Porta Inferi, and this time in a slightly more emotional spirit — singer Radim Korbel recently announced his departure from the band, which gave the concert a specific atmosphere. Nevertheless, the band entered confidently and opened the set with the song Černá můra. The audience also enjoyed the hits Nech mé tělo, Doufám, Vrať se nám, Jeden tým and the ballad Svobodná celá. They closed the evening with a symbolically strong track Síla je v nás.
Radim once again confirmed how essential his voice is to the character of Porta Inferi — from clean lines to a strong growl with the typical "heart in the voice". I have known the band for a long time and it was strange to stand under the stage knowing that we were watching one of the last shows with him. Even though the band is looking for a new singer and is leaving room for unconventional options, such as a female voice, it is still clear to long-time fans that Radim's performance defined these songs and his departure closes an important chapter for the band.
Despite the smaller attendance, it was an evening full of energy, honest work and true musical passion. The Metal/Core Tour in Hradiště showed that the Czech metal scene is alive and that even a chamber concert can offer a strong experience, close to fans and the bands themselves.
We would like to thank all the bands for their great performance, all the technicians and organizers for the smooth running of the event and especially the fans who arrived and created an unforgettable atmosphere. Thanks to you, the music in Klub Mír was truly powerful.
