Masterplan announce a new single, album, and the Metalmorphosis tour

Fans of Masterplan have plenty to look forward to. The German metal band has officially announced the release of the first single from their upcoming studio album Metalmorphosis and has also revealed the dates for their spring European tour.

The first single, titled "Chase the Light," will be released on January 15, 2026, accompanied by a music video. It will serve as the first taste of the new album, which fans have been waiting for for several years. The full album Metalmorphosis is set to be released on May 22, 2026.

Alongside the announcement of the new material, the band also unveiled the dates for the Metalmorphosis Tour 2026, during which they will visit several European countries, including the Czech Republic.

In the accompanying announcement, the band stated: "You've been waiting for it. So have we." A new era of Masterplan is thus taking clear shape—with new material, fresh energy, and a return to the concert stages.
