MAD SNEAKS Pay Tribute to the Roots of Alternative Rock in Striking New Music Video “Dirty Blood”

31/07/2026

MAD SNEAKS have just released the music video for the song "Dirty Blood" – a new audiovisual project that reinforces the band's identity within alternative rock while delivering an intense narrative about exclusion, pain, and liberation. Heavily influenced by grunge and the alternative aesthetic of the 1990s, "Dirty Blood" arrives at a time when a new generation is rediscovering the power of this movement and seeking less perfection, fewer filters, and greater authenticity. The song explores what it means to be the "black sheep" – the bad apple in the bunch – and how to live with it without guilt. Rather than seeking approval, the track focuses on the journey towards self-acceptance and the freedom that comes from embracing one's true identity.

In the music video, this concept comes to life through highly symbolic imagery. Masked figures, fire, shadows, and mysterious characters represent the inner conflicts, fears, and fragmented layers of someone who spent years trying to meet external expectations before finally finding the strength to embrace who they truly are.

To reinforce the message behind "Dirty Blood", MAD SNEAKS also chose to create a space for genuine alternative talents involved in the production. The video's protagonists, Marcelo Bboy and Veronika Prana, were selected by the band themselves with the aim of giving visibility to artists and individuals who often face exclusion because of prejudice, stereotypes, or simply because they are different.

The band MAD SNEAKS, consisting of Agno Dissan, Amaury Johns, and Phill Andreas, is establishing itself as one of Brazil's emerging names associated with the current revival of grunge culture and alternative rock. The group recently released the album "Incognito", an English-language reinterpretation of the project produced by Jack Endino, a historic figure on the Seattle scene. The album follows an approach unusual for today's market: digitally, it is available exclusively on Bandcamp, while physical CD copies are distributed in limited quantities. With "Dirty Blood", MAD SNEAKS deliver more than just a music video – they present a visual and sonic manifesto for everyone who has ever been labelled different and decided to turn that difference into strength.
