Mabon Tour: Deloraine Invite You to a Pagan Autumn of Myths and Magic

The year is slowly turning towards its darker side. The forests are dressing themselves in cloaks of golden and crimson leaves, the wind carries echoes of ancient tales, and nature is preparing for its well-earned rest. Mabon is coming – the time of the autumn equinox, harvest, balance and saying farewell to everything that has fulfilled its destiny.

It is during this magical season that Deloraine are setting out on their new tour. The Mabon Tour, inspired by their song Mabon, comes accompanied by an autumn-themed music video. And just as the world around us changes with the arrival of autumn, the music of this Czech fantasy pagan-folk band opens doors to other worlds – worlds where ancient myths, pagan gods and stories hidden deep within the forests come alive.

Mabon Tour: From the Czech Lands Beyond the Border

The autumn journey will take Deloraine across Czech cities and beyond the border – to Germany and Poland. The Polish leg of the tour will feature several joint shows with Żniwa and Szlakiem Starych Drzew, bringing together different forms of folk and pagan-folk music.

The Czech dates will not be without special guests either. On November 11 in Prague, the Italian five-piece Uttern will join them on stage. Their music blends ancient European spirituality, sacred femininity and the forces of nature with mysterious vocals, archaic languages and ritual rhythms. On December 18 at První patro in Brno, Deloraine will be joined by Polish pagan duo Żniwa. Their multi-instrumental music, inspired by ancient traditions, promises another evening in which music becomes a gateway to a world of old myths and forgotten stories.

Where the Concert Ends and the Ritual Begins

In their music, Deloraine draw inspiration from the world of The Witcher, Middle-earth, ancient myths and sagas, as well as the pagan traditions of the Celtic, Slavic and Norse worlds. Their sound combines powerful vocals with a rich palette of ethnic and exotic instruments, giving every song its own distinctive atmosphere.

But the real magic comes alive on stage. Deloraine concerts are not simply about listening to music and forgetting what you heard a few hours later. They are about energy, dancing, costumes and pagan rituals in which figures such as the Horned Seer, Cernunnos and Odin himself come to life.

Fans can look forward to songs that have become an inseparable part of the band's repertoire: Ragnarok, Yennefer, Ostara, Sabat, Dryáda, Odin, Havranů pán, Silver For Monsters, Steel For Humans, as well as newer songs Lada and Mabon. The latter is particularly fitting for this time of year. It reminds us of the ever-changing nature of the world, the cycle of nature and those moments when one chapter closes so another can begin.

But the Mabon Tour may also reveal something Deloraine fans have been waiting for for quite some time. Mystery still surrounds the upcoming album Dryáda, and it remains unclear when the band will unveil the next pieces of its world. Perhaps the autumn shows will offer the first hints. For now, however, we'll have to wait a little longer.
