LOU FANÁNEK HAGEN LAUNCHES GREATEST HITS ALBUM AND NEW BOOK

On Tuesday, October 13, 2026, a special double launch ceremony took place at the Na Staré sokolovně pub, celebrating the release of two exciting new projects! The first highlight of the evening was the official launch of the recently released album LOU FANÁNEK HAGEN 60, a retrospective collection featuring 12 songs. The selection includes tracks from the Hagen Baden albums, several notable songs by Tři sestry, and material from the albums Jevany and František z Braníka. Two guest appearances on albums by Alkehol and Monkey Business are complemented by the exceptional inclusion of the song Metro from the project Cestování Prahou, created by František Sahula, which was never widely distributed. Fanánek brings the retrospective album to a powerful conclusion with his brand-new composition Moravian RapSchody.

The album was ceremonially launched by Lou Fanánek Hagen himself, alongside Vladimír Kočandrle, Managing Director of Warner Music Czech Republic.

The second major highlight of the evening was the launch of the biography LOU FANÁNEK HAGEN, subtitled ŽIVOT JE TAKOVEJ A JINEJ NEBUDE (Life Is What It Is, and It Won't Be Any Different), written by Jakub Malovaný. This unique book offers readers an extraordinary insight into the life and creative career of Lou Fanánek Hagen.

In addition to the central figure himself, the book draws on often long-forgotten archival materials and the testimonies of important people Fanánek has encountered throughout his life. The book was ceremonially launched by Lou Fanánek Hagen, its author Jakub Malovaný, and editor and publisher Jan Hlaváč.
