Lonely God Lives On: Fit For A King Announce Deluxe Edition
American metalcore band Fit For A King have announced an expanded edition of their eighth studio album, Lonely God. The deluxe edition of last year's album is set to be released on October 30, 2026, via Solid State Records. Fans can pre-save the album on Spotify or pre-order it on exclusive colored vinyl.
In addition to the original tracklist, the deluxe edition will feature three new tracks, Steady Doom, Blood Pack (both previously released on an EP earlier this year), and Dirt. The latter was released as the band's latest single alongside the announcement of the deluxe edition.
The entire original album, along with the additional tracks, was produced by Daniel Braunstein, who has previously worked with bands such as Spiritbox. Vocalist Ryan Kirby explained that every member contributed to the record and that the band managed to find the perfect creative balance. Built around the brotherhood within the band, the album combines the unpredictability of metalcore with the brutality of deathcore.
Fit For A King last performed in the Czech Republic this April at Roxy in Prague. The band also appeared at Rock For People in 2024. They will support the deluxe edition with live shows, embarking on a US tour in October before heading to Australia in January alongside Beartooth. So, it is probably only a matter of time before they return to the Czech Republic.
