LÁSKA and Matěj Homola Make Fun of Themselves in New Single Refrén nemá slova

Two friends who know how to make fun of themselves. Singer-songwriter LÁSKA is releasing the single Refrén nemá slova, featuring Matěj Homola, vocalist of Wohnout. With humour and a generous dose of self-irony, they comment on their place in the music scene. The song is another taste of his third full-length album, due out on 4 December 2026.

The collaboration is rooted in the long-standing friendship between the two musicians. LÁSKA therefore approached Matěj with an offer to guest on the track, which he immediately accepted. The result is a song in which both musicians take a light-hearted look at their own musical careers.

"I'm really glad Matěj agreed to this collaboration. The recording went roughly like this: I packed my computer, audio interface and microphone into a backpack, got on my motorbike and rode over to Matěj's… and we recorded his vocals right there in his living room. It was all done in half an hour, because Matěj is a real pro, among other things," explains Láska, describing how the recording came about.

"Václav and I have known each other for a long time. He sent me a demo and asked if I could lay down some vocals on it, which I was happy to do. I hope I didn't mess it up too much, and I wish the song plenty of rotation, like a kohlrabi," Matěj says, explaining how the recording came together.

The upcoming album will also feature the previously released single Jakou mám ženu, on which LÁSKA collaborated with František Černý and Karel Holas from Čechomor. He is preparing a music video for another, entirely new song from the album, which will be released in the second half of November.

The new album will be released on 4 December digitally, on CD and, above all, on vinyl. Shortly afterwards, LÁSKA will celebrate its release with two live launch shows: 7 December 2026 at Malostranská beseda in Prague and 11 December 2026 at the TopTen Rock club in Dvůr Králové nad Labem.

LÁSKA, whose real name is Václav Vaňura, is a Czech singer, guitarist, composer and singer-songwriter. Under his pseudonym, he has released two albums so far, along with a number of singles and music videos. His past collaborators include Xindl X, Petra Janů, Iva Frühlingová, Franta Černý (Čechomor), Vašek Bláha (Divokej Bill) and many others.
