It'll Be a Battle, But Don't Be Afraid: INSANIA Unveil the First Taste of Their Upcoming Album NEO-NOE

26/06/2026

Brno-based INSANIA have unveiled a new music video for Bude to boj, ale neboj (It'll Be a Battle, But Don't Be Afraid), the first taste of their upcoming album NEO-NOE. The new record will be released this autumn and, according to the band, will be one of their most energetic releases in recent years.

The music video was directed by frontman Poly and embraces a DIY aesthetic. It was filmed directly in the band's rehearsal room, reflecting the raw character of both the song and the upcoming album.

Musically, NEO-NOE will continue the signature style INSANIA are known for—heavy guitar riffs combined with aggressive electronic samples, powerful rhythms, and lyrics filled with sarcasm.

"The dose of poisonous sarcasm is even stronger than before: the evergreens spit sulphur in every direction, including at our own ranks. Musically, NEO-NOE will be INSANIA's most hard-hitting album since Trans-Mystic Anarchy—almost half of the songs race along at high speed. On the other hand, there are also experiments, such as a fretless bass used on two tracks or monstrously distorted Hammond organs. The new tracks launch their attack from the trenches we moved into with the album Grrrotesky," explains frontman Poly.

The album's release will also be accompanied by the NEO-NOE Tour, which will see INSANIA perform in clubs across the Czech Republic. The official album launch will take place at two special shows:

  • January 23, 2027 – Brno, Fléda (album release show, special guest: Zputnik)
  • February 4, 2027 – Prague, Palác Akropolis (album release show, special guest: Zputnik)

The new single suggests that INSANIA have lost none of their desire to experiment and push their music forward, even after many years on the scene. If Bude to boj, ale neboj is truly a preview of what the full album has to offer, fans have plenty to look forward to this autumn.
