Infernal Christmas in Bolka: Sacrastic, Krkonošské matky and Rádio Jerevan to Rock Willax Club
The run-up to Christmas in Mladá Boleslav is about to get a seriously loud soundtrack. On Saturday, December 12, 2026, Willax Klub Heineken will host Pekelné Vánoce v Bolce (Infernal Christmas in Bolka), bringing together three bands with distinct musical identities. Rádio Jerevan, Krkonošské matky and Sacrastic will take the stage in that order. Instead of Christmas carols, expect a punk- and hardcore-infused opening, hard-hitting rock and old-school thrash metal.
Opening the evening will be Rádio Jerevan, hailing from Potštejn in eastern Bohemia. Active since 1999, the band moves between hardcore, metal and punk, occasionally venturing into unexpected stylistic territory. Its focus is on original material, direct songwriting and energetic live performances. In 2024, the group recorded the album Chtěj si hrát, whose title track also received a music video. The record includes songs such as Black Friday, Vina tvá and Král rumovýho gangu. That musical variety should make for a lively start to the night.
Next up are Krkonošské matky, a four-piece rock band from Dvůr Králové nad Labem. Their beginnings date back to 2017, and since their first shows they have been developing original material drawing on the Krkonoše Mountains, the surrounding foothills and everyday life. Their debut album, Rýbrcoulův konec, arrived in 2021 and included tracks such as Rýbrcoul and Krakonoš. The follow-up, Panoptikum (2025), introduced a heavier musical and vocal approach. Among its songs are Fénix, V plamenech and Nás nezastavíš. Throughout, the band retains its distinctive character and commitment to Czech-language lyrics.
The final set belongs to Sacrastic, a thrash metal outfit associated with the Mnichovo Hradiště area. The band's roots go back to the early 1990s, when the musicians performed under the name Sarcastic. They have used their current name since 1996, and their sound is marked by sharp guitar riffs, forceful rhythms and the direct energy of old-school thrash. Notable recordings include Grál from 1996 as well as later studio material. Sacrastic 2020 features tracks including Tak pojď, Zpověď, Kat and Stroj na zabíjení. For fans of Czech thrash metal, it promises a powerful finale.
Pekelné Vánoce v Bolce will bring three different approaches to heavy music under one roof: a restless blend of hardcore and punk, rock inspired by stories from the foothills, and a thrash metal finale. Anyone looking to swap the pre-Christmas rush for guitars, drums and a packed club atmosphere now has a date for the diary.
