Iné Kafe celebrated 30 years in Plzeň

As part of the GRAND FINALE CS KLUB TOUR 30 rokov (1995–2025), our neighboring punk rock band Iné Kafe arrived on Friday, January 16, 2026, in the beer city of Plzeň, choosing the Bílej Medvěd club as the venue. The tour kicked off with a single concert in their home city of Bratislava back in December, and Plzeň was the first stop in our country as well as the band's first concert of the year. During the tour, the band will visit several more Czech and Slovak cities, with the final show taking place in February at Prague's Palác Akropolis.

The club opened at seven o'clock, when the first eager fans started pouring in. There was time to calmly enjoy a Pilsner, chat with friends, and check out the new merchandise. As part of the tour and the 30th anniversary celebrations, brand-new band T-shirts were even created.

Since it was still early January, the club retained its Christmas decorations – including a light chain directly above the stage, which the band did not fail to comment on. While waiting for nine o'clock, when the musicians would take the stage and more visitors gradually arrived, contemporary Czech hits were playing in the club – Lucie, Anna K., or Chinaski.

The concert kicked off with the older song Čiernobielou, followed by Kolagenová Nitka, about an arrogant rock star. Růžová zahrada, 30. Február, and Škaredá Baba were not missing either. Then came the ballad Keď odchádza niekto, the latest single released at the end of last year. Among other things, they also played Sínus dopadu, a song they haven't performed live for a long time and most likely won't play again outside of this tour.

While talking about the album Made in Czechoslovakia, they mentioned that our country has many great Karls – Gott, Svoboda, or even Charles IV. In their honor, the band played a rock version of the song Anděl, originally written by none other than Karel Kryl. Other songs included Prečo je to tak?, Spomienky na budúcnosť, and Pomôžte mi so mnou in an acoustic version with keyboards. The set concluded with the symbolic song Mojich najlepších 30 rokov.

The fans, of course, clapped their way to an encore featuring Ďakujeme Vám, Ráno, and finally Závěrečnou, accompanied by a unique closing speech:
"Love each other, multiply, and everyone love music."

We thank the band and the organizers for allowing us to be part of this punk rock ride and wish them equally amazing fans at the remaining stops of the tour.

If you couldn't make it to the show, or just want to relive it, here are a few photos – you can find many more on our ZONERAMA.
