“If You Do Not Fear Me, Then You Cannot Love Me” Gore. Return with the Second Half of the Story

Young Texas metalcore band Gore. have announced the release of a new EP. The band have only been active for a short time, since 2023, fronted by vocalist Hailey Roughton.

The new EP, titled Then You Cannot Love Me, will be released via Spinefarm Records on October 9, 2026, and you can already pre-save it on Spotify. It will feature their recent single Lead Me To The Slaughter as well as the brand-new single Crucified. The vocalist says that "This song describes a toxic attraction. Someone so seductive that they lead you straight into temptation. They have you wrapped around their finger, and they know it. You adore them. You try your hardest to resist, but there is something both painful and pleasurable about their presence, so you give in to it, just as you give in to all the chaos you know it will bring."

The EP directly follows their previous release, If You Do Not Fear Me, which came out in autumn 2025. Together, the titles of the two EPs form one complete sentence — "If you do not fear me, then you cannot love me." According to the vocalist, the two EPs were conceived as two inseparable halves.

The band performed in the Czech Republic in November 2025 at Prague's MeetFactory. Although they are not currently planning to return here, they are now touring Europe as one of the special guests on the tour of American band I Prevail.
