IDEÁL! Vypsaná Fixa unveil new studio album

Tomorrow, May 22, 2026, the eleventh studio album by legendary Pardubice band Vypsaná Fixa, titled Ideál, will finally see the light of day. The album is being released via Supraphon, where it is already available for pre-order in physical formats, either as a CD or vinyl LP. Fans of streaming services can also save it on Spotify.

According to currently available information, producers Dušan Neuwerth and Ondřej Ježek both contributed to the album, while the band recorded in several studios, including Petr Janda's renowned Propast studio.

Back in March, the band released the first "taste" of the album in the form of the single Bylo to jistý. The accompanying music video was directed by Jakub Kohák and features hockey champion Jiří Hrdina. The entire clip revolves around a table tennis tournament, much like the artwork of the new album itself.

According to frontman Márdi, the album is heavily connected thematically with animals, which is also reflected in song titles such as Pelikán, Velryba and Tři malé opičky.
