Hrady CZ Music Festival Heads to Bouzov This Friday and Saturday with Mirai, Daniel Landa, Rybičky 48 and Mig 21

The music and cultural Hrady CZ festival continues its journey after Točník, Kunětická hora, Švihov, Hluboká nad Vltavou, Veveří and Hradec nad Moravicí and will arrive in Bouzov near Olomouc on Friday and Saturday, 21 and 22 August. It will then conclude this year's tour on 28 and 29 August at Bezděz. On Friday in Bouzov, Rybičky 48 and Mig 21, as well as rapper Rytmus, will perform. On Saturday, visitors can look forward to exclusive extended sets by Mirai and Daniel Landa, along with Vypsaná fixa, Krucipüsk and Tomáš Klus. Hrady CZ is the only festival of its kind to include free admission to a tour of Bouzov Castle in the ticket price during Saturday afternoon, subject, of course, to the castle's visitor capacity.
On Friday, the festival grounds below Bouzov Castle, featuring two stages, will open at 3:30 p.m. The audience will be set in motion by Trautenberk, creative artist Grey256 and pop band Vega Elektra. The traditional and largest castle mask carnival, held as part of the programme at 7:30 p.m., celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. Everyone who arrives in costume will enjoy a parade on the festival stage and receive a reward. At every Hrady CZ stop, the audience will choose by cheering the three best costumes, which will advance to the grand final with the winners announced on 17 November 2026. The main prize for the overall winner will be free tickets to next year's festival together with a range of attractive prizes.
On Saturday, the grounds will open to visitors at 10:30 a.m. Fans can also look forward to crazy-rock band Harlej, singer Lenny and singer-songwriter Xindl X. Alternative-pop group Brixtn will present its new single "Náhubek", while Adaline will bring a 1990s sound to Hrady CZ for the first time.
"I always look forward to Hrady CZ enormously; it's our favourite festival. I'm glad we're playing there again with the full band this year. Our drummer will be pulling double duty, first with us and then in the evening with Dan Landa. As a band, we'll definitely come to watch him and support him," says singer Xindl X.
The festival organisers have long cooperated with the National Heritage Institute. For visitors with a festival ticket, Bouzov Castle tour routes will be open free of charge on Saturday afternoon, subject to the castle's capacity. In addition to a wide selection of refreshments, all festival sites will for the first time feature a traditional pub with covered seating and draught beer served in glasses, a family zone with a bouncy castle for children, a Playhouse tent with gaming activities for taking a break from the festival bustle, shaded chill-out zones with loungers and misting stations, and other leisure activities. Creatively minded visitors can take part in a photo competition for valuable prizes. Photos from this year's festival can be uploaded directly from the venue using the QR code in the festival brochure (available on site). Payments at the festival will once again be handled through a cashless system using rechargeable wristbands; no other form of payment will be accepted.
