Hrady CZ Music Festival Conquers Hradec nad Moravicí This Friday and Saturday with Mirai, Daniel Landa, Rybičky 48 and Mig 21

11/08/2026

The travelling music and cultural festival Hrady CZ, after Točník, Kunětická hora, Švihov, Hluboká nad Vltavou and Veveří, arrives at Hradec nad Moravicí near Opava on Friday and Saturday, 14 and 15 August. The following Friday and Saturday it will move on to Bouzov, and its 21st tour this year will conclude back in Bohemia at Bezděz on 28 and 29 August. On Friday in Hradec nad Moravicí, Rybičky 48 and Mig 21 and rapper Rytmus will perform. On Saturday, visitors can look forward to exclusive extended sets by Mirai and Daniel Landa, as well as Vypsaná fixa, Krucipüsk and Tomáš Klus. Unique among festivals of its kind, Hrady CZ includes free admission to a tour of Hradec nad Moravicí Castle in the ticket price on Saturday afternoon, subject, of course, to the venue's capacity.

On Friday, the festival grounds with two stages on the meadow next to Hotel Belária below Hradec nad Moravicí Castle will open at 3:30 p.m. The crowd will be set in motion by Trautenberk, creative Grey256 and pop band Vega Elektra. The traditional and largest castle costume carnival, held as part of the programme at 7:30 p.m., celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. Everyone who comes in costume will take part in a parade on the festival stage and receive a reward. At every Hrady CZ stop, the audience (and not only them) will choose the three best costumes by cheering. They will advance to the grand final, with the winner announced on 17 November 2026. The main prize for the overall winner will be free tickets to next year's festival along with a range of attractive prizes.

On Saturday, the grounds will open to visitors at 10:30 a.m. Fans can also look forward to crazy-rock band Harlej, singer Lenny and singer-songwriter Xindl X. Alternative pop act Brixtn will present their new single Náhubek, while band Adaline will bring a 1990s sound to Hrady CZ for the first time.

"I look forward to this year's Hrady CZ just as much as I look forward to summer, because for me the two are synonymous. As a child, besides wanting to be a cowboy and a binman, I wanted to be a knight because I loved castle ruins and imagined I lived there. But being a cowboy was the dream that stayed with me the longest," laughs singer Tomáš Klus.

The festival organisers have long cooperated with the National Heritage Institute. On Saturday afternoon, visitors with a festival ticket will have free access to the visitor routes at Hradec nad Moravicí Castle, subject to the site's capacity. At all festival grounds, in addition to a wide range of food and refreshments, this year there will for the first time be a traditional pub with covered seating and draught beer served in glasses, a family zone with a bouncy castle for children, a Playhouse tent with gaming activities for a break from the festival bustle, shaded chill-out zones with loungers and misting systems, and other leisure activities. Creative visitors can take part in a photo competition for valuable prizes. Photos from this year's festival can be uploaded directly from the venue using the QR code in the festival brochure (available on site). Payments at the festival will once again be handled through a cashless system using rechargeable wristbands; no other form of payment will be accepted.
